Our respite days are not about sitting on the sidelines; they’re about being part of a vibrant social community where purpose doesn’t have an expiry date.


Reclaiming the Spark


Forget the old fashioned image of respite. We are much more interested in what makes you, you. We use a specialised initiative called The WISER Approach which is just a fancy way of saying we get to know the person, not just a diagnosis.

By focusing on your unique background, interests, and abilities, we create personalised experiences that empower individuals and encourage independence. A typical day at our centres isn’t just a "service" it’s a social community where you’ll find:


  • Social Connection: Enjoying a laugh and a cuppa with people who truly understand the journey.

  • Creative Projects: Expressing yourself through hands on tasks that offer a real sense of achievement.

  • Staying Active: Keeping moving at your own pace through dance, games, and light sport.

Investing in Your Own Wellbeing


While we’re talking about balance, we’ve created something special specifically for those who spend so much of their hearts looking after others.

Our 6 Week Senior Wellbeing Program is a chance to hit the reset button. Led by experienced Allied Health Professionals, it’s a positive, hands on way to gain practical tools for your physical and emotional health. It’s a brilliant way to connect with a supportive community that understands your world, all for a one time contribution of $30 (for those eligible for CHSP).

Life is far too short to feel like the volume has been turned down. Whether it’s joining us for a day of connection at a respite centre or taking six weeks to focus on your own health, the goal is the same: less juggling, more living.
