Careers at Omnicare

Join our local team and discover meaningful support work on the Mid North Coast

At Omnicare, we are more than just a workplace. We are a local community built on care and a shared commitment to helping people live well. As a leading employer in the region, we offer careers in aged care and disability support that allow you to make a genuine impact every day.

We believe that support should fit into your life. There is no prize for doing everything yourself, and that applies to our team too. We work together to take a few things off our participants' plates so they can focus on more living.

Our diverse team includes:

  • Support Workers and Coordinators: Empowering people to stay in charge of their own choices.

  • Chefs and Cooks: Preparing nutritious meals for our local community.

  • Tradespeople: Keeping homes safe and easy to move around in.

  • Office and Admin: Making sure our local services run smoothly.

Why join the Omnicare team?

We support people - our participants, our volunteers, and most importantly, our staff. We foster a positive and inclusive work environment where you will feel seen and understood.

As a profit for purpose organisation, we put our energy back into the community. We prioritise your wellbeing, ensuring you have a safe, healthy, and supportive place to grow your career.

Ready to start?

We are always looking for passionate and experienced people to join us. Because we take our responsibility to the community seriously, all staff must complete NDIS worker screening and mandatory training. Support can be simple, and we will help you through the process so we can get you started.

Rewarding volunteer opportunities on the Mid North Coast

How you can help

Volunteering with us is a great way to meet new people and share the load.

Our volunteers help with:

  • Transport: Helping people get to appointments and stay active.

  • Meal deliveries: Bringing fresh meals and a friendly chat to local doors.

  • Social outings: Keeping our community connected and having a bit of fun.

  • Companionship: Brightening someone’s day at our centres or in their home.

It is often the highlight of the week for both our volunteers and the people they visit.

What's involved?

Supporting people with aged care or disability needs requires patience and a bit of initiative, but you are never on your own. We provide all the support you need to feel calm and capable in your role.

To keep everyone safe, our volunteers complete:

  • NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children checks.

  • Simple mandatory training (we will guide you through this).
