Disability Services - support for your personal goals
Omnicare recognises ability, in whatever forms it may come. We’re here to support NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) participants by promoting skill development and independence.
Our Disability Services prioritise the individual, ensuring you lead your planning and decision making, with the support of your family, friends, carers and advocates.
Focusing on clients' individual abilities, interests and skills is the starting point for Omnicare in promoting and developing a strong sense of independence and community connections.
You remain in charge, with our experienced support staff ready and willing to provide any guidance you would like.
What kind of support do you offer?
Omnicare provides support for daily living through:
- Assistance at home and in daily living
- Social and community participation
- Skills development
- Group programs
- Coordination of supports
- Home modifications and maintenance
Our community and centre-based program options are aligned with The WISER Approach, to accommodate individual interests and goals.
With separate groups for children of school age (7-18 years) and adults, we're confident you'll find opportunities to expand on your interests and skills, and experience new ones.
Children will be engaged and enjoy every aspect of our Zone program which runs after school hours, and during school holiday periods. Adults can refine their skills and enjoy time with friends during our weekly Let’s Link program.
Our programs reflect the diversity of our clients – not just through the range of activities we offer, but also in the way we refresh and update them.
If you have a specific interest or challenge you’d like to pursue as a group activity, we'll seek out other potential participants and endeavour to introduce it within our program.

What can I gain from group activities?
As a National Disability Standards service accredited provider, Omnicare is committed to running activities that will benefit clients in their daily routines.
The Zone and Let’s Link programs aim to assist you with:
- Life skills (e.g. kitchen skills including cooking)
- Social connection (e.g. daytime excursions, tenpin)
- Creativity (e.g. arts and crafts)
- Exercise (fitness workouts, outdoor games, sailing)
During the COVID pandemic our programs are operating within the limits of participant numbers.
By including Omnicare services in your NDIS plan, you'll benefit from the opportunity to enrich your life through purposeful group activities and closer ties to your community.
